A Showroom Built from Years of Boot Development

2026-08-27
A footwear showroom naturally presents what a factory can make. But over time, it can become something more valuable: a physical record of what has already been explored.
Across the shelves at Jiangsu Yibei Industry Co., Ltd., Western boots appear in different proportions, colors and design languages. Some feature traditional brown leathers and familiar Western stitching, while others explore contrasting shafts, shorter silhouettes, different toe profiles or more contemporary color combinations.
Each sample carries information.
A designer can examine how a particular leather behaves on a certain toe shape. A developer can compare shaft heights without relying entirely on drawings. Stitch patterns, welts, heels and material combinations can be reviewed directly and discussed around an actual boot.
This makes previous development work useful again when a new project begins.
A customer may like the toe of one sample but prefer the shaft treatment of another. An older construction can provide the starting point for a new leather or color direction. Instead of beginning every discussion with an empty page, existing samples provide tangible references that can be adapted and developed further.
For Yibei, maintaining a broad sample collection is part of building product knowledge over time. The boots displayed in our showroom represent completed work, but they can also become the starting point for the next idea.
