How To Judge The Quality Of Riding Boots

2024-12-10
You can judge the quality of riding boots from the following aspects:

1. Leather material
Good riding boots are usually made of leather, such as cowhide and sheepskin. The surface of the leather should be smooth, without obvious flaws, folds or cracks. Press the leather with your finger, can quickly rebound to restore the original shape, indicating that the leather is good elasticity.
Smell the smell of leather, high quality leather will have a light natural leather flavor, while poor quality leather may have pungent chemical odor.
2. stitching
Check whether the stitching is even, fine and neat, without loose or broken threads. The color of the stitching should match the leather.
3. Sole
Good soles are usually made of wear-resistant and non-slip materials, such as rubber. The pattern of the sole should be clear and deep to provide good grip.
The joint between the sole and the upper should be firm, with no signs of gaps or open glue.
4. Lining
The lining of a good riding boot should be soft, comfortable, sweat-absorbent and breathable to minimize foot discomfort.
5. Shape and workmanship
The overall shoe shape should be regular, symmetrical from left to right, without deformation or distortion. The details are well handled, such as the shape and decoration of the toe and heel, which should be smooth and burr-free.
6. Comfort
When trying on, feel whether there is enough space for the feet to move without squeezing the toes and feet. Whether the height and width of the boot shaft are suitable and do not cause discomfort or constriction to the legs.
