This Palitutu style approaches that moment through two circular openings integrated directly into the shaft.
Instead of adding another external component, the openings give the fingers a natural place to grip. The wearer can use them to pull the shaft upward while guiding the foot into the boot.
What makes the detail interesting is how naturally it becomes part of the Western design language. Surrounded by decorative stitching, the openings contribute to the appearance of the shaft while serving a specific purpose during wear.
